You will be working as a member of our Research Software Engineering team, and contribute to development and maintenance of IT infrastructure for research in medical image analysis. In particular, you will be participating in developing an IT infrastructure and meta-data models in the European Population Imaging Infrastructure (Euro-BioImaging Node) for the EuCanImage project.
EuCanImage is a Horizon 2020 project funded by the European Commission (10M Euro) to build a secure and federated imaging platform for next-generation artificial intelligence and precision medicine in oncology. The cancer imaging platform will be built by leveraging the European Population Imaging Infrastructure, cross-linked to biological and health repositories through the European Genome-phenome Archive, allowing to develop multi-scale AI solutions that integrate organ-level, molecular and other clinical predictors into dense patient-specific cancer fingerprints. EuCanImage is a collaboration between world-renown experts in image data management, machine learning, cancer imaging/radiomics, clinical oncology and technology transfer, across Europe and the US.
