Salary

In 2023 and 2024, salary in university medical centers was increased by a total of 14%. As of July 1, 2025, it will be increased by another 3% *.

• Your salary depends on education and experience. 
• In May you will receive a vacation allowance of 8%. 
• You will receive our 13th month (8.3%) as early as November. 
• For irregular shifts, you receive premium pay (ORT in Dutch) of up to 72% on Sundays and public holidays. 
• For on-call, on-call or standby shifts, you will receive an allowance of up to €12.50 gross per hour.
• You will receive a compensation of € 80 gross per month for full-time employment if you need to change into work clothes outside of working hours.

Commuting

Public transport stops right in front of our door, you can park in one of our parking lots, or make use of our favorable bicycle scheme.

 

For your travel expenses, you can choose between a 100% public transport allowance for a one-way trip of at least 7 km, or a mileage allowance of € 0.18 per km up to a maximum of 40 km per one-way trip.

Work from home

Do you structurally work one or more days from home? We reimburse up to € 750 for furnishing your workplace with our special working from home scheme.

 

If you work from home, you receive a net home office allowance of € 2.35 per day.
